    Frequently Asked Questions

    Where is it shipped from?
From local warehouses in the US and Canada, with fast and free delivery.
    Can it weld aluminum?
Yes. TIG200P AC/DC supports AC TIG mode designed specifically for aluminum. It handles thin sheets (as low as 0.9 mm) and thick plates up to 6 mm with a stable arc and clean weld beads.
What types of metals can it weld?
Aluminum, stainless steel, mild steel, copper, and more. Use AC TIG for aluminum and DC TIG for steel, stainless steel, and copper.
What's the difference between AC and DC TIG?
AC TIG is used for aluminum and magnesium.

DC TIG is used for steel, stainless steel, and copper.

The AC wave also cleans the oxide layer on aluminum, producing smoother and brighter welds.
What gas should I use for TIG welding?
    Use 100% Argon gas.

    • Aluminum: Pure Argon at approximately 15–20 CFH.
    • Steel & Stainless Steel: The same pure Argon gas works perfectly.
What voltage does it work on?
It supports Dual Voltage 110V / 220V, making it suitable for both home garages and professional workshops.
What kind of tungsten should I use?
    For Aluminum (AC):
    • 2% Zirconiated (White)
    • 2% Lanthanated (Blue)

    For Steel (DC):
    • 2% Thoriated (Red)
    • 2% Lanthanated (Blue)
    How long is the warranty?
The TIG200P AC/DC includes a 5-Year Warranty covering the machine's core electrical components from the original purchase date.

Wear parts and structural components are not covered.
Does it come with a foot pedal?
No. The machine is compatible with a foot pedal, but the foot pedal is sold separately.
Does it have Pulse TIG? What is it for?
    Yes.

Pulse TIG provides greater control over heat input and arc stability, making it ideal for welding thin materials with precision. It helps improve weld appearance while reducing distortion and burn-through.
